Activity Title: 'The Challenge of Magic Numbers'

Project Objective:

  1. Develop counting skills for natural numbers less than 100.

Detailed Project Description:

In this activity, each group will create their own 'Book of Magic Numbers'. This book will consist of several pages, where each page will have a natural number less than 100. The group's task will be to count all the numbers on each page and draw an illustration corresponding to the counted number.

Additionally, each group must create a Numeric Puzzle. In this puzzle, each piece will be a page from the 'Book of Magic Numbers'. Thus, when all the pieces are put together, the puzzle will form the complete book.

To make the challenge more interesting, each page of the book will be a counting challenge. The group must discover a pattern for counting each page and write the rule on a piece of paper that will be glued to the page. For example, if the page contains the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, the rule could be 'We count by 1'.

In the end, each group will present their 'Book of Magic Numbers' to the class and explain how they solved each counting challenge. It will be a great mathematical exhibition!

Required Materials:
