Detailed Project Description

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 members. Each group will be responsible for creating an interactive game made of cards, where players will have to identify the vowels in different syllables to advance in the game. In addition, students should document the process of building the game in a small logbook.

• Magazines (to cut out images of objects, animals, etc.)

Step by Step

1. Group Division: Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Game Explanation: Explain to the students that they must create a card game where players will have to identify the vowels in different syllables to advance in the game. The game cards should contain images of objects, animals, etc., and a syllable written below the image.

3. Game Creation: Students should draw or cut out images of objects, animals, etc., and write a syllable below each image. For example, if the image is of a cat, the syllable could be 'ca'. It is important that the syllables contain different vowels to increase the complexity of the game.

4. Board Construction: Students should draw a board where the cards will be placed. The board can be as simple or complex as the students wish. They should also create a starting space and an ending space.

5. Game Rules: Students should create the rules of the game. For example, a player can roll the dice and move their piece on the board. When landing on a card, they must identify the syllable and say what the vowel is. If correct, they can advance one more space, otherwise, they lose their turn. The first to reach the ending space wins the game.

6. Logbook: Each group should keep a logbook, where they will write down the process of creating the game. They should record the decisions made, the challenges encountered and how they overcame them, the ideas that arose during the process, among others.
