Asking for clarifications in English involves a variety of phrases and structures that vary according to the context and situation. For example, in an informal context, a student may simply say "What do you mean?" or "Can you repeat that?". Project Objective

The main objective of this project is to enhance the ability to request clarifications in English, through the interpretation of dialogues, conversation simulations, and context analysis. Students should work in teams of 3 to 5 members.

Detailed Project Description

This project will be carried out in four main stages: Research & Preparation, Role Playing, Presentation, and Report.

1. Research & Preparation: In this stage, each team should research in detail about the correct way to request clarifications in English in different contexts (formal and informal).

2. Role Playing: The next step is practice through role playing, where group members will have to interact and use what they learned in the research stage to request clarifications during dialogue and conversation simulations. Each team member should have the chance to request clarifications.

3. Presentation: Each group will present a synthesis of their learnings, sharing examples of how to request clarifications in different contexts.

4. Report: Finally, each team should present a written report detailing their findings and learnings, focusing on the four main points: Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography used.

Step-by-Step

1. Research & Preparation: Teams should conduct research in reference books, on the internet, and through other resources such as dictionaries and online videos to learn about how to request clarifications in English. 2. Role Playing: Each team will create and record dialogues in English that contain requests for clarifications. Students should switch roles within the simulations to have the complete experience.

3. Presentation: Each team will present to the class their understanding of how to request clarifications in English. Additionally, they should share excerpts of their recorded dialogues that they find most relevant.

4. Report: Here, each team should elaborate a report describing their experiences and learnings in the project.
