If we find these factors, we have "factored" the object.

This is especially useful when we want to simplify fractions, solve equations, or find divisors. Looking at the number 12, for instance, we can see that it is composed of two prime factors, 2 and 3, in such a way that 2 x 2 x 3 = 12. Factoring provides us with this insight!

Yes, you heard right. We are going to mix mathematics and art! The artistic representation could be a drawing, a painting, a 3D model, a sculpture, a music piece, a short film, or any other form of art of your choice. The only condition is that the art must clearly portray the concept of factoring and how it is applied in a real-life context.
Required Materials
- Paper and pencil for preliminary drawings and planning.
- Selected art resources (e.g. paint, colored paper, clay, musical instruments, video recording equipment, 3D modeling software, etc.).
- Computer with internet access for research and presentation preparation.
