Importance of Youth

Youth represents the future of a society. The way young people are shaped, their thoughts, ideals, and expectations directly reflect the direction society will take. Therefore, understanding the youth of a country is to perceive where it is heading.

Furthermore, young people are often promoters of change, driving innovations and cultural, social, and political transformations. Activity Title: THE VOICE OF YOUTH

Project Objective:

This project aims to explore the unique perspectives, experiences, and aspirations of young people in our community. The project will focus on three main components: youth identity, the idea of the future, and the different territorialities young people occupy.

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 and will work together to conduct qualitative research in the form of interviews, data collection, and media analysis. The groups will discuss and record their findings and present a written report and an oral presentation of their discoveries.

Step 1: Research and Planning

Students should research youth, focusing on aspects such as their role in society, struggles, achievements, and challenges. They should familiarize themselves with the concepts of youth identity and territorialities. This will help in formulating questions for the interviews.

Step 2: Conducting Interviews

Each group should identify and interview people of different age groups (including other students, teachers, parents, etc.). The interviews should be conducted with respect and empathy.
