Activity Title: Designing a Blog in English

Project Objective

This project aims to provide you, students, with an authentic and interactive experience of written production in English. You will collaborate with your peers to create a blog in English with multiple posts on topics of your interest. It is expected that you apply the grammar rules and structures learned during classes and demonstrate your ability to work in a team, manage your time, solve problems, and think creatively.

Detailed Project Description

Each group of 3 to 5 students will be responsible for designing a blog in English to be hosted on a free platform of their choice. The blog should contain at least one post written by each group member, and the theme of the posts is at the group's discretion, covering various topics such as books, movies, travel, science, technology, among others.

Required Materials

1. Computer with internet access
2. English dictionary (can be online)
3. Blog creation platform (such as Blogger, WordPress, Wix, etc.)

Detailed Step-by-Step for Activity Completion

1. Form groups of 3 to 5 students.
2. Decide on the blog's theme and name.
3. Choose a blog creation platform and register the blog.
4. Plan and divide tasks: who will write about what, who will be responsible for editing and formatting the posts, who will take care of the blog's design and layout, etc.
5. Write the posts in English. Remember to review grammar, spelling, and correct use of verb tenses.
6. Publish the posts on the blog and check if the layout and formatting are appropriate.
7. Prepare a presentation of the blog for classmates and the teacher.

Project Deliverables

At the end of the project, each group must deliver:

1. The link to the created blog.
2. Final report detailing the blog creation process, including:
   1. Introduction: Contextualizing the blog's theme, its relevance and real-world application, and the purpose of this project.
   2. Development: Explaining the theory behind the chosen theme, a detailed description of the post production process, including the methodology used and difficulties encountered, and discussing the results obtained.
   3. Conclusion: Summarizing the main points of the project, highlighting the learnings, skills developed, and conclusions drawn.
   4. Bibliography: Listing the sources used for research and writing the posts.

The report must be typed and formatted according to the teacher's guidelines and submitted within the defined deadline. The blog and the report will be evaluated based on the clarity and correctness of the English writing, originality and creativity, organization, and group collaboration.
