The formula for constructing a question tag is relatively simple. If a sentence is affirmative, the question tag will be negative. If the sentence is negative, the question tag will be affirmative. Additionally, the auxiliary verb of the main sentence will be the same verb used in the question tag. For example, in the sentence "He can play the guitar, can't he?", the main sentence "He can play the guitar" is affirmative, so we use the negative form "can't" in the question tag.

Finally, the pronoun used in the question tag must agree with the subject of the main sentence. Therefore, in the sentence "They aren't coming to the party, are they?", the subject "They" agrees with the pronoun "they" in the question tag.

The dialogue should be followed by a presentation, where each group will explain their choices of question tags, describing the construction and use of each one, as well as the relationship with the dialogue's context.

For the completion of this project, students will need:

• Paper and pen for drafting the dialogues.

• Access to a computer and a word processor for the production of the final report.
