This is especially relevant when we delve into the field of grammar, as it is where we find the rules that govern the structure of a language, in this case, Spanish.

Introduction

Pronouns are words that replace or accompany nouns. In Spanish, as in other Romance languages, the placement of clitic pronouns is something that can cause doubts, as it occurs differently from Portuguese. In Spanish, clitic pronouns can occupy two syntactic positions: before the verb (proclisis) or after the verb linked by a hyphen (enclisis).

The choice between proclisis and enclisis in the Spanish language does not depend on the sound of the sentence (as in Portuguese), but on the complexity of the verb construction. Therefore, the correct and fluent use of pronouns in Spanish requires an understanding of the context and the situation.

Project Objective

Practice the correct use of pronominal placement in the Spanish language through the creation of a comic book, where characters face everyday situations and dialogue correctly using clitic pronouns in their speech.

Detailed Project Description

Each group of 3 to 5 students will be responsible for creating a comic book, which must contain a minimum of 10 pages. The characters in the story can be humans, animals, inanimate objects, etc. The plot of the story is free, however, it must be created in a way that compels the characters to use various forms of pronoun placement in Spanish in their dialogues.

Each page of the comic book must present at least one occasion where clitic pronouns will be used in the form of proclisis or enclisis. The comic book can be created by hand, in the traditional format, or using digital tools.

Required Materials

• Paper and drawing materials (if the comic book is handmade);
• Digital tools such as tablets, drawing and editing software, if opting for a digital version.

Detailed Step-by-Step Guide for the Activity

1. Each group should start by researching more about pronominal placement in Spanish with the suggested resources and/or others of their choice. This will be the theoretical basis for creating the comic book.
2. Next, students should create the plot of the comic book considering opportunities for applying pronominal placement.
3. Then, they should create the characters and discuss their characteristics and how they relate to the plot.
4. In the next stage, students should start drawing their comic book, page by page, with coherent dialogues and well-applied pronouns.
5. Once the comic book is ready, students should review all the dialogues to ensure that the pronominal placement is correct.
6. Finally, the group should write the project report, which will explain in detail all the steps taken.

Project Deliverables

1. The comic book - whether in physical, digital format, or both. It must be delivered to the teacher and presented to the class, with students explaining their theoretical choices in constructing the story dialogues.

2. The project report - this document should follow the format of an academic report with the following topics:

• Introduction: The group must contextualize pronominal placement as a grammatical concept and its importance for the Spanish language. Explain the project's objective and the methodology used.

• Development: In this part, the group must explain in detail the theory of pronominal placement in Spanish, how they applied it in practice, i.e., in creating the comic book dialogues, and discuss the results obtained.

• Conclusion: Students must conclude the work by revisiting the main points, explaining the learnings obtained, and the conclusions drawn about the project. They must also reflect on their teamwork skills and time management.

• Bibliography: Last but not least, the group must list all the sources consulted to carry out the project: books, websites, videos, etc.
