Project Objectives:

Detailed Project Description:

For this project, each group (composed of 3 to 5 students) will be responsible for identifying and analyzing recursive and non-recursive sequences present in different areas of knowledge.

Each group must choose a specific theme to investigate. Themes can include broad areas such as science, literature, and arts. For example, a group may choose to investigate the presence of sequences in species propagation (science), musical compositions (arts), or the structure of a novel (literature).

The project will be divided into three main parts.

  • Part 1: Research and identification of sequences in the chosen area

  • Part 3: Communication of the results

Each group must dedicate a significant amount of time (more than 12 hours per student) to complete the project.

  1. Formation of groups and selection of the theme to be investigated.

Each of these deliverables is directly connected to the suggested activities. The research and analysis conducted serve as the basis for writing the report and preparing the presentation. At the same time, writing the report helps students organize their thoughts and prepare for the oral presentation, as well as develop technical writing skills. The oral presentation allows students to practice their communication and idea articulation skills clearly and concisely.
