The topic 'Asia: Economy and Population' aims to study these changes and problems in a broad and interdisciplinary view. Since population and economy are closely linked, it is important to understand and analyze the interactions between them. In the economy, we will focus on key industries such as technology, manufacturing, agriculture, as well as the role of international corporations and world economic organizations. In the population aspect, we will observe demographic trends, internal and international migration, urbanization, among other factors.

To assist in this study, we have key concepts such as development differences among nations, the effects of globalization on the economy and population, socio-economic inequality, and the concept of emerging markets.

Contextualization

Asia is the most populous continent in the world, home to over 60% of the global population. It is composed of an immense diversity of cultures, religions, economies, and governments. Moreover, it is one of the continents with the highest economic growth in recent years, with countries that are key players in the global economy, such as China and Japan.

The region undergoes constant economic and population transformations, ranging from the rapid growth of its megacities, through demographic issues to the increase in its economic participation in the world. Understanding these changes is essential to grasp the current global scenario.

Activity Title: Shadowing a Nation - A Mirror in Asia

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to deepen the understanding of demographic and economic trends in Asia through a detailed research on a specific country.

Detailed Project Description

Each group of students (composed of 3 to 5 students) will be tasked with selecting and studying in-depth an Asian country, focusing on topics such as economy, demography, culture, social and environmental issues.

Additionally, each group needs to develop a detailed multimedia presentation illustrating the main findings and conclusions drawn from the conducted study.

Required Materials

1. Internet access: For research and collection of relevant information.
2. Books and educational materials: For theoretical support and detailed explanation of concepts.
3. Presentation software: It can be Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or any other similar software to prepare the multimedia presentation.

Step by Step

1. Selection of an Asian Country: Start by selecting an Asian country to conduct an in-depth research on. The division of countries should be conducted by the teacher to ensure there are no repetitions and all countries are represented.

2. Research and Information Collection: Students should conduct a detailed research on their chosen country. The research should cover the following topics: economy, population, culture, socio-economic inequality, urban development, environmental challenges, and the role of world economic organizations in the country. Use authentic and diverse sources to collect the information.

3. Preparation of the presentation: With the collected information, students should create a detailed multimedia presentation that clearly and concisely explains the findings from the research. The presentation should include images and graphics illustrating the presented information.

4. Writing the report: Alongside the multimedia presentation, students should write a detailed report of the project, explaining the research methodology, the findings, and the conclusions reached.

In the Introduction, the group should describe the chosen country, the reason for its choice, the relevance of the study, and the objective of this project. It is also important to suggest the application of this learning in the real world.

The report's development section should explain the theory on the chosen study topics, describe the activity in detail, indicate the methodology used, and present and discuss the results obtained.

The conclusion of the work should summarize the main points, explain the learnings obtained, and the conclusions drawn from the project.

The bibliography should indicate all research sources used for the work, including books, websites, videos, among others. Remember to give proper credit to the authors.

5. Project Presentation: The group should present the research of their country to the class using the multimedia presentation they prepared.
