Assumptions: This Active Lesson Plan assumes: a 100-minute class, prior student study with both the Book and the start of Project development, and that only one activity (among the three suggested) will be chosen to be conducted during the class, as each activity is designed to take up a significant portion of the available time.

2. Now, think that you are part of a curiosity channel on YouTube. The challenge is to transform the story of discovering a new planet into a curious and informative video that captures viewers' attention. How would you start the video? What elements would you use to maintain followers' interest?

The purpose of this stage is to allow students to practically and creatively apply the concepts of orality and narrative they studied previously, through engaging and challenging activities that simulate real content production situations. By working in teams, students develop not only communication and expression skills but also collaboration and critical thinking competencies. Each activity is designed to be completed within the lesson, ensuring that students have enough time to explore and experiment with the proposed contents and formats.

Activity 1 - Interview with an Alien

> Duration: (45 - 50 minutes)

- Objective: Develop the ability to formulate creative questions and imaginative answers, exploring orality and narrative capability.

- Description: Students will be divided into groups of up to 5 people. Each group will receive the challenge of creating an interview script with an alien. They must think of questions that explore the culture, technology, and curiosities of the visitor's planet, as well as creative and innovative responses considering the situation of beings from another world.

- Instructions:

• Divide the class into groups of up to 5 students.

• Each group chooses one student to portray the alien.

• The other students in the group must create questions that explore different aspects of the alien's world.

• The student representing the alien must respond creatively, using imagination.

• Groups will have 30 minutes to prepare the script and 20 minutes for the presentation.

Activity 2 - The Great Discovery Video

> Duration: (45 - 50 minutes)

- Objective: Apply storytelling techniques in a video format, stimulating creativity and synthesis skills.

- Description: In this activity, students, organized in groups, will create a short video for a curiosity channel on YouTube. The theme will be a scientific or historical discovery, and the challenge will be to present the content in an interesting and informative manner, using elements of visual narrative.

- Instructions:

• Form groups of no more than 5 students.

• Choose a scientific or historical discovery to serve as a theme.

• Research and discuss the discovery, highlighting curious and relevant information.

• Create a storyboard that includes the introduction, development, and conclusion of the video.

• Produce the video using resources available in the classroom or with the assistance of students' equipment.

• Present the video to the class, followed by a brief discussion on the creation process.

Activity 3 - Creating a Music Podcast

> Duration: (45 - 50 minutes)

- Objective: Develop research, writing, and narration skills, in addition to stimulating students' interest in music and history.

- Description: Students will be challenged to create a podcast that tells the story of a band or musical artist, including curiosities, landmark facts, and fictional interviews. The goal is for the podcast to be both informative and entertaining, using elements of narration and music.

- Instructions:

• Divide the class into groups of up to 5 students.

• Each group chooses a band or musical artist to base the podcast on.

• Research the history of the band or artist, collecting curiosities and relevant information.

• Create a script that includes the narration of facts, curiosities, and interviews with fictional characters.

• Record the podcast, using the band or artist's music to set the mood and illustrate the content.

• Present the podcast to the class, followed by a discussion on the use of music and creativity in narration.

Duration: (15 - 20 minutes)

The purpose of this stage is to consolidate students' learning, allowing them to reflect on what they have learned and share their experiences with peers. This discussion helps reinforce the concepts of orality and narrative, as well as promote self-assessment skills and the ability to give and receive feedback.
