- Instructions:

  • Divide the class into groups of up to 5 students.

  • Each group will receive a type of rock (igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary) to be the main focus of their campaign.

  • Guide students to research more information about the characteristics, formation, and examples of uses of the assigned type of rock.

  • Students should create a script highlighting the most important information they want to convey.

  • Using their cell phones, students will record a series of short videos (up to 1 minute each), simulating social media stories.
