The city faces serious issues due to water and air contamination from local industries. Each group must analyze the provided data, identify the main sources of pollution, and develop a sustainable action plan.

- Instructions:

• Divide the class into groups of up to 5 students.

• Distribute materials containing data about pollution in the fictional city (data may include pollutant levels, public health, local economy, etc.).

• Ask each group to identify the main sources of pollution and their most critical impacts.

• Each group must develop an action plan that includes sustainable solutions to reduce pollution.

• Present the plan in the form of a formal proposal to the fictional city hall.

Activity 2 - Eco Treasure Hunt

- Objective: Promote learning about environmental issues in a dynamic and interactive way, encouraging collaboration and critical thinking.

- Description: Students will participate in a treasure hunt inside the school, where each clue leads to information about different environmental issues in Asia, such as plastic pollution and industrial emissions. The clues will be hidden in locations that symbolize parts of the Asian continent. Students will need to solve riddles and complete tasks to advance in the game and learn about the environmental impacts.

- Instructions:

• Prepare clues and riddles related to environmental problems in Asia, hiding them around the school.

• Divide students into groups and provide the first clue.

• Monitor and assist the groups as they progress, solving riddles that lead them to the next clues.

• Each completed clue must be accompanied by a task or questionnaire about the discovered environmental issue.

• The group that first completes all tasks and learns about all issues wins a symbolic prize.

Activity 3 - Environmental Debate: Pros and Cons of Industrialization

- Description: Students will be divided into two groups that will debate the positive and negative aspects of industrialization in Asia, focusing especially on environmental impacts. Each team must use arguments based on real data and case studies to defend their position, whether in favor of or against industrial expansion.

- Instructions:

• Divide the class into two large groups: one in favor and one against industrialization.

• Distribute research materials, including articles, case studies, and reports on industrialization in Asia.

• Give time for each group to prepare their arguments and debate strategies.

• Conduct the debate, with each group presenting their arguments followed by a Q&A session.

• Conclude with a class vote on which group presented the most convincing arguments.
