Hello, little writers! Have you ever stopped to think about how many interesting things happen around us every day? In the morning, when we wake up, we can see the sun rising, the birds singing. At school, we learn new things, meet different people. And at home, we see our family, play with our friends.
All these things we see, hear, and feel are called "observations". And they are very important! Do you know why? Because they help us learn and understand the world around us. And one of the best ways to keep these observations is through writing.
Introduction
Writing is an incredible tool! With it, we can record our ideas, our feelings, and, of course, our observations. When we write, we are giving life to our words, allowing other people to know our thoughts and experiences.
However, writing is not always easy, is it? Sometimes, we don't know how to start, or we are unsure if we are writing in the right way. But believe me, all of us, including me, go through this! And the good news is that the more we practice, the more confident we become.
Importance of the Project
And that's exactly what we are going to do in this project! We will put into practice our writing skills, developing and recording our observations. Besides helping us improve our texts, this activity will allow us to practice other important skills, such as working in a team, managing our time, and being creative.

Practical Activity: "My Observation Diary"
Project Objective
The objective of this project is for students, working in groups, to develop their writing, time management, and teamwork skills. They will be challenged to keep an "Observation Diary" over the course of a week, where they will record their observations about the world around them.
Project Description
Students, in groups of 3 to 5 people, will create an "Observation Diary". In this diary, they should record, daily, at least one observation they make in the school environment or at home. The observations can be about things they saw, heard, felt, or learned.
Necessary Materials
- Notebooks or sheets of paper for each student in the group.
- Pens, pencils, erasers, colored pencils, crayons, etc.
- Materials for decorating the diary (colored paper, stickers, etc. - optional).
Step by Step

Group Formation: Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people.

Activity Explanation: The teacher will explain the activity, clarifying that students should record their observations in the diary every day, for a week.

Diary Creation: Each group will create their "Observation Diary". They can use notebooks or sheets of paper. These can be decorated if they want.

Recording Observations: Over a week, students will record, daily, at least one observation they make in the school environment or at home. The teacher can suggest some themes for the observations, such as nature, friendship, learning, etc.

Discussion of Observations: At the end of each day, students will gather in their groups to share their observations. They can discuss the similarities and differences of the observations and help each other write about what they saw, heard, felt, or learned.

Diary Presentation: At the end of the week, each group will present their "Observation Diary" to the class. They can choose an observation to read aloud and explain why they chose that observation.
Delivery Format
Students should deliver the "Observation Diary" at the end of the week, during the presentation to the class. The diary will be evaluated based on the number of observations recorded and the quality of the writing (grammar, coherence, creativity, etc.). Participation and collaboration in group work will also be evaluated.
