In the Simple Present, verbs undergo few changes, regardless of the subject of the sentence. This means that for "I," "You," "He/She/It," "We," "You," and "They," the verb form is the same. For example, for the verb "to eat," in all persons, we use "eat."

Additionally, the Simple Present can also be used to express future actions, fixed events, or routines. For example, "I go to school every day" or "The sun rises in the east."

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to create an adventure book entirely in English, where students will use the Simple Present tense to tell stories and express their ideas. These stories should be full of actions and fun characters!

Project Description

Each group of students will be responsible for creating an adventure book, which must contain a minimum of 5 pages, exploring the use of the Simple Present. The book pages will be divided into comics that will tell the story. Each comic should contain a scene and a dialogue using the Simple Present.

Required Materials

1. A4 or letter-sized paper for the book pages.
2. Colored pencils, markers, crayons for coloring and decorating the pages.
3. Ruler and pencil for drawing the comics.
4. Eraser to correct possible errors.
5. English dictionary (if necessary).

Step by Step

1. Form the groups: Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students. Each group should choose a name for their team.

2. Choose the story: Decide together what the story of the book will be. It can be an adventure in space, under the sea, in the jungle, in the city, wherever your imagination allows!

3. Plan the story: Now, plan the story. Sketch out each page, indicating where the comics will be and what will happen in each of them. Remember, each comic should contain actions and dialogues in the Simple Present.
