Let's delve into this intriguing theme, understanding the processes that shaped our planet, integrating them with its components - from climate patterns, types of soil, relief, and vegetation formations - and, on top of that, learn about how to collaborate and work in a team.

Our Earth is the only known planet to harbor life, and this is no mere coincidence. To understand the importance of the formation of our planet, we need to comprehend that every piece of land, every portion of water, and every breath of air are integral parts of a complex mechanism that makes life as we know it possible.

Most of us realize that our planet is special, but few of us know how it became this way. Therefore, this project is not just a journey into the past, but a quest to understand our present and envision our future. Understanding the formation of Earth helps us appreciate its uniqueness and, thus, the importance of protecting it.

Now, you will become miniature geologists, exploring the wonders of the formation of our Planet Earth. To embark on this incredible journey, we suggest some resources that can assist you. You can read the book 'History of the Earth: An Introduction to Historical Geology' by Dennis V. Kent and 'Earth: An Introduction to Physical Geology' by Edward J. Tarbuck. For online resources, look for the educational website 'Mundo Educação' and search for videos with Geology teachers on YouTube. Remember, research is an important part of this project and will be essential for its execution.

Practical Activity - 'Recreating the Earth'

Project Objective

Through the construction of a three-dimensional model of Earth, this project aims to encourage research, collaboration, and creativity. Students will explore different aspects of the planet's formation, including climate patterns, types of soil, relief, and vegetation formations.

Detailed Project Description

Groups will be responsible for building a three-dimensional model of Planet Earth based on their research on the project's topics. The model should be divided into layers representing the planet's interior and exterior, with special attention to the Earth's crust, where students must represent different types of soils, reliefs, vegetation formations, and climates.
