Project Objective
The objective of this project is to investigate movement on two fronts:
- Understand the functioning of the human body, with emphasis on the interaction between the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems.
- Study the movement of other animals and compare it to that of humans.
In addition, students should develop research skills, report writing, teamwork, and time management.
Project Description
Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people. Each group will choose an animal to study and compare its movement to that of humans.
This project will be divided into two parts:

A theoretical research, in which students will investigate the anatomy of the chosen animal, focusing on the systems involved in movement (muscular, skeletal, and nervous), and compare them with the corresponding structures in the human body.

A practical presentation, in which each group will physically demonstrate the movement of the chosen animal and explain how it compares to human movement.
The total duration of the project should be at least 12 hours per participating student, including research, preparation, and presentation time.
