Scientific thinking and common sense seem, at first glance, to be two irreconcilable opposites. However, a more careful analysis reveals a deep and intricate connection between them. Scientific thinking, with its rigorous and deductive logic, is the result of a long evolution of knowledge, whose roots are firmly planted in the fertile ground of common sense. On the other hand, common sense is the result of everyday observations and empiricism, which often precede and even intuit the discoveries of science.

The history of humanity is marked by the constant struggle between common sense and scientific thinking. From the period of Antiquity, through the Middle Ages and into modern times, this struggle has always been present. At each stage, we evolve, moving from common sense to scientific thinking, challenging previous perceptions and making discoveries that fundamentally change our view of the world.

The aim of this project is to explore this dynamic relationship between scientific thinking and common sense. We want to highlight the importance of this relationship in shaping our current knowledge and how it influences our contemporary perception of the world.

The relevance of this topic is immense and its real-world applications are many. It is not only about understanding the process of knowledge and how we interpret the world around us, but also about understanding the need for critical and scientific thinking in the face of the simplistic and often misleading perceptions of common sense. In an increasingly complex and challenging world, this skill is more than necessary.
