Project Objective

The project's objective is to allow students to apply the concept of Substantive Subordinate Clauses in a practical and interactive way, through the creation of a fictional scenario that involves the application of these concepts.

Detailed Project Description

In this project, students, divided into groups of 3 to 5, must create a fictional scenario. It can be a story, a daily situation, an event, a report, among others. This scenario should be written in a way that applies and highlights the use of Substantive Subordinate Clauses.

It is necessary that, in the created scenario, there is the use of the Substantive Subordinate Clause Subjective, Direct Object, and Indirect Object, identified and explained by the students themselves.

The groups will have one month to complete the project and must deliver, in the end, a document containing the story and the analysis of the Substantive Subordinate Clauses used.

Necessary Materials

• Computer with internet access (for research and preparation of the final document)
• Grammar books or reliable online sources for consultation
• Text editing software (Word, Google Docs, etc.)

1. Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students.
2. Choose a theme or situation for the story/scenario.

4. Develop the story/scenario, inserting the Substantive Subordinate Clauses effectively and correctly.
5. Identify and explain each Substantive Subordinate Clause used in the text.
6. Write the final document, following the report structure with Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography.
7. Review the text and make necessary corrections.
8. Submit the final work.

Project Deliverables

At the end of the project, the groups will deliver a written document that must contain:

• Introduction: Should contextualize the chosen scenario and the importance of correctly using Substantive Subordinate Clauses in the chosen context.

• Development: Should explain, in detail, the story or scenario that was created, identifying and explaining the use of Substantive Subordinate Clauses. A link should be made between the theory studied and the practice presented in the scenario.

• Conclusions: Should contain the conclusions drawn from the work, highlighting the learnings obtained and the practical application of the theory.

• Bibliography: Should list the sources consulted in the project.

This document will be the main deliverable of the project and will be used for the final evaluation of the groups.
