Divided into groups of 3 to 5 people, students should choose one or more countries in Latin America that had left-wing governments in the 21st century. From there, the following activities should be carried out:

• Research on the country's context: students should gather information about the political, economic, and social scenario at the time of the chosen government's beginning.

• Analysis of implemented policies: each group must select and study two to three significant policies implemented by the government in question, seeking to understand their objectives, actions taken, costs, and results.

• Evaluation of impacts: students should analyze the impacts of the policies on the country's socioeconomic indicators, such as poverty rate, income distribution, education, and health.

• Identification of challenges: identify the main challenges faced by the left-wing government, whether in economic, political terms, or in resistance from society or institutions.

Students should prepare a slide presentation with the research and analysis results. The presentation should be clear, concise, and include graphs and/or images illustrating the results.
