• Each group must choose a specific point in the community (square, school, market, etc.).

• Using Google Earth, students must search for old and current images and information about that point.

• Students should search on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) for recent images of the location to understand how it is used by the community today.

• Create a digital presentation (PowerPoint or Google Slides) comparing the images and highlighting the changes observed.

• Add information to the presentation about how social networks influence the perception and current use of the location.

• Each group must present their findings to the class.

Activity 2 - Neighborhood Influencers: Telling Community Stories
